Happy

I've been on the topic of "Happiness" lately. I'll give you a list of what's been bouncing around in my head lately on this topic.

Well, where did all this come from??

Yoga Cures is a book by Tara Stiles, who is my (living) idol. I just couldn't say enough about her for you to understand. She's simply amazing and she's changed my life. This book wasn't how I found her. I actually found her in a magazine a few years ago which lead me to youtube, where I became obsessed. From there came her book Slim, Calm, Sexy Yoga and a way of life was already in formation. Then her book Yoga Cures is much deeper in the how's and why's of meditation. Mindfulness is a way of life.

Next, The Happiness Project is quite the rave already and has been for years. Just check it out. She also has a facebook, website and toolbox. This is something you have to read for yourself.

Now for the song by Lindsey Ray....Just go listen to it. I love it. It's got happiness written all over it, happiness with a special someone and it fits my life quite well. Plus, its a fun and upbeat song.

Last, the fog is clearing up and things are becoming more within my grasp, serious, real, understandable. Very recently I went to a meeting that just slapped me in the face. It was good....just wish it happened two years ago. BUT I'm grateful that it happened at all and in just enough time for me to attack my future with a fierce, determined attitude. I finally know more precisely what I'm doing after I get my bachelors degree in psychology. Finally. I had a plan before, but it was very fuzzy. I was planning on a bunch of "what-if's" and unknowns...turns out my plan was all FUBAR'd....so this is a VERY good thing and it makes me happy to have this stuff cleared up a bit.

I leave you with a quote:

"We must exercise ourselves in the things which bring happiness, since, if that be present, we have everything, and, if that be absent, all our actions are directed toward attaining it."
